Dr. Jeff Chen received his DDS from Taipei Medical University in 1998; Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate of Prosthodontics from the University of Washington in 2008. In addition to serving patients in Bothell, he is a full time Assistant Professor at the University of Washington Department of Restorative Dentistry and maintains a private practice in Shoreline, WA. Dr. Chen’s clinical expertise focuses on esthetic and implant dentistry. His research and clinical work has been presented at multiple scientific meetings both nationally and internationally, and he has authored numerous articles in various peer-reviewed journals. During his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Nagatomo and their two kids, traveling, reading, and playing sports.

Dr. Joan Nagatomo received her DDS from Niigata University and her PhD in advanced Periodontics from the Tokyo Medical Dental University in Japan. She then returned to the United States, where she completed her residency and received her speciality Certificate of Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree (MSD) from the University of Washington. Dr. Nagatomo treats every patient like family, with compassion, empathy and quality care. Her extensive training and experience across multiple fields of dentistry makes her uniquely qualified to provide her patients with accurate diagnoses and exceptional treatments. In her spare time, Dr. Nagatomo enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Chen and their two kids, cooking, watching movies, and playing golf.
